From the beginning in the garden of Eden, God has appointed Labour or work as a necessary part of life. In the book of Genesis 2:15 it says “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work and take care of it.”
For most of us this necessity of work, labour or employment continues, so that we can provide for our needs and the needs of those who depend on us. Whilst many of us may wish or dream of a life of leisure free from the burden and necessity of work. When we look at it from a proper perspective we will actually see that God has always intended for work, labour and employment as our friend and preserver.
